50 and Fabulous

Today Kevin celebrates his 50th birthday and we do so by he and I going to San Bernadino to sign the paperwork for his retirement.  After we sign the paperwork we'll go to lunch and have a nice chance to catch our breath with all the busyness of this move.

Then it's home and more packing the pod.  Tomorrow Amber and Eddie are having us over for dinner and a chance to celebrate as a family Kevin's birthday. We'll have to really acknowledge this milestone once we reach Florida and as the huge Disney fan that Kevin is, the best way to enjoy these life events of 50 and retiring is what else?   Go to Disneyworld!!

So it's off to begin a busy day and enjoy time with a wonderful husband, father and just an incredible man as he celebrates the first 50 years of life!!!  Happy Birthday, we love you very much Kevin.

    1. Thanks so much Janet,
Admittedly I am looking forward to leaving California. Not something I ever thought I'd feel with as long as I've lived here. It's becoming a much different State in recent years and not so much for the better sadly.
We visited Disney World 6 years ago, but are really looking forward to it replacing Disneyland as one of our family afternoon fun get aways!!
Take care and thanks so much for your nice wishes.
