Two Years Ago Today - Then and Now

Two years ago today the busyness of months of preperation, planning and the years of raising, nurturing and praying for a positive future for our oldest daughter came together as she joined herself in marriage to a wonderful and Godly young man we are now blessed to call our son- in- law (and love).  This is the second anniversary for Amber and Eddie and we are so delighted to celebrate, even at a distance the lives they now share together.

It was a busy time as we had  just come back two months earlier from our journey to China that started this blog to bring home Lauren.  We had been preparing for their day since early in September of 2011 after Eddie had proposed and the process to get all ready for their wedding began. The church, the dresses, the flowers, the suits, the reception hall and food everything was set to go.  It was beautiful and all went well.  It's amazing how much has happened since then.  Amber and Eddie have grown together and really settled into a life of their own.  They've had opportunities to support each other in career choices, living environments and travel.  It's thrilling to see them grow together so.

Though we are now across the country and settling into our own changes in life and circumstances we take full advantage of all of todays modes of communication to stay in touch and know what's happening.  We are so thrilled to celebrate with them their first two years of what we know will be a lifetime of love and the experiences that go with that.  Happy Anniversary Amber and Eddie - we love you both!!!

  2. Thank you for the anniversary wishes :) We had a pretty low-key celebration-went to Mulligans for the batting cages, ate some pizza, and went back home to watch a movie :).

    1. Too bad you haven't graduated to "date nights" at Lowes : ) That will probably happen once you two have settled into your own home. Glad you had a nice anniversary. Love you.
