Fun Outside

Sorry for being a little remiss in updating the blog lately, however we have all been really busy with work, school, projects, and of course preparing for Amber and Eddie's wedding which is now only a week away!

Today since the weather was so nice (temp around 80) we spent some time out in the front garden/yard clearing weeds, trimming trees, and letting the kids play.

Things are getting better as we all learn how to communicate with Lauren and she learns how to communicate with us.  Lauren is also starting to adjust to life in a family and understanding some of the basic ground rules and courtesies of being part of a family and no longer in an orphanage with 20+ other children in the same room.

Series of photos of Lauren running. Such an improvement in the short time she has been with us. When Lauren first arrived she would almost waddle and not really run but would rather jog.  She would also be winded and need to take breaks after a short run, now she ran around several of the garden paths without waddling and did not rest until she ran up to mom and dad waiting near the house.
