Date Night at the Raglan Road

With Patrick and Jennifer back from Pennsylvania, it was time for a date night to celebrate.  So last night we all headed off to Downtown Disney for dinner and entertainment at the Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant.
We were treated to an Irish band who, while hard to understand when they were speaking, were wonderful to listen to as they played music and sang.  And then the Irish dancers are always enjoyable to watch.

Our table was right beside the smaller of the two stages, so when the dancers were there it was easy to view the intricate and fast moving footwork that is so integral to this style of dance.

Everything was delicious!! And of course dessert of bread pudding here is a must!

My meal they called "Beef Be Braised".

Bread Pudding with it's sides of warm caramel and custard

After our meal we all needed a nice stroll to walk off our meals.  The sun was just beginning to set and a nice breeze began to blow that made the temperature a comfortable one. The entertainers are stationed throughout the Downtown Disney area, so you can stop and listen or watch as you walk around.  There are loads of shops if you're so inclined.

Outside the restaurant with another Irish Band playing at the exterior dining area.

Some of the sights on our walk as the sun began to set

The didgeridoo guy and some impromptu dancer who was funny to watch

Some photos of us as we stopped at an overlook point for the harbor

It was a wonderful night out with good food, a nice environment and of course great company!!
