Rain & Pumpkin Patch

Once again the weather forecast was not quite accurate, yes we are finally getting cooler weather however it rained!  They are calling for rain later in the week but not today, this weekend was supposed to be cooler, but we had temps near 95 - go figure.

We took the opportunity today to travel down to the San Diego area and visit Bates Nut Farm where they have a pumpkin patch and the kids could get themselves each a pumpkin.  We also had them do the straw maze and a tractor ride - the girls loved it.  We also tasted their fresh fudge and came home with an assortment of various flavored fudge!  : )
