Our annual Christmas decorating began as is our families custom on Thanksgiving day after our meal had settled and we had a little while to visit with Grandma and Poppie it was time to get to work and put up the outside lights.
It was a warm day, but there was a nice breeze so it made for a pleasant time outside.
Over the next week the house was a disaster area as we brought all the decorations down from the attic and began the process of decorating for the holiday season.

Now that the decorations are up it's feeling like Christmas and the past few days the weather's been cooperating by treating us to a cool spell. Unfortunately Christmas day it's supposed to be back in the 80's, but that's what happens in Central Florida.

So now we're decorated, the gifts are bought and wrapped, most of my Christmas cards are written and the girls continue to count down the days as Christmas nears and their excitement grows.
