- She is NOT shy! Even with stares from the public (Asian children w/ caucasians get lots of gawkers) she just gives a princess wave and stares back with a smile!
- Despite the notes from the nannies; she is NOT quiet - she loves to talk.
- Even with the language barrier she does not seem to get frustrated and works hard to make us understand what she wants or needs.
-She is stubborn, "NO" means try again until you get a stern "NO" then a self imposed timeout until she is ready to forgive you!
-She is a real trooper, despite having a chest cold and needing to take antibiotics and medicine the SWI (orphanage) gave us, she has lots of energy and nothing is slowing her down from experiencing her new environment.
-She has a tremendous amount of enthusiasm, just like Hannah's personality she has so much joy: loves to smile, be praised, shows her pleasure openly with a squeal or laugh. Last night when Cameron walked to our table in the lounge with a chocolate mousse she squealed and applauded!
I am sure we will be learning so much more about her as we go on the next week and a half here in China. Only two more nights in Shanghai, today to the Civil Affairs Office and Notary's Office.
